PACKAGE GUIDE · BY GRAFT & CLICK · 29 OCTOBER 2026
What does a managed trade website cost?
Compare the setup, ongoing care and provider charges together. Here is how the Graft & Click package adds up, and the questions to settle before you order a website for your trade business.
Our package, in pounds
| Item | Our charge | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Website setup | £299 once | Up to five pages and two revision rounds before launch. |
| Managed care | £100/month | Hosting, SSL, backup management, monthly checks and up to 30 minutes of small updates. |
| First 12 months live | £1,499 | £299 setup + 12 × £100. Domain, email and agreed extras are additional. |
| A further 12 months | £1,200 | 12 × £100 at the current monthly rate, before provider costs and extras. |
Our quoted fees include any applicable VAT. These totals illustrate the cost at our published rates if you keep the service for those periods; they do not state a minimum contract term. Payment dates, any minimum term and cancellation arrangements are confirmed in your written agreement.
What you supply
Your business details, services, working area, logo if you have one, and photographs you have permission to use. We help shape the website wording from that information. Logo design and professional photography are quoted separately.
Which changes fit the monthly allowance?
Replacing supplied photographs, amending an existing description or updating contact details are typical small changes. Up to 30 minutes per month is included, and unused time does not roll over. New pages, substantial rewrites, redesigns or new functionality are quoted before work begins.
Which costs sit outside the package?
Your domain registration and renewal, mailbox subscription and any other agreed paid services are separate provider charges. Online shops, booking and payment systems, bespoke integrations, extra pages, advertising and ongoing SEO campaigns are outside the standard package.
What does the SEO setup actually cover?
Clear service and location wording, useful page titles, mobile-friendly layouts and crawlable pages give search engines and customers a sensible starting point. Those foundations do not buy a Google position. A longer-term SEO campaign, new content and work on reputation are separate activities.
Five questions to settle before paying
- Which pages, features and revision rounds are included?
- Who owns the domain, and who pays each renewal?
- What is the minimum term, cancellation notice and exit cost, if any?
- Which website files and content can be transferred if you leave?
- What ongoing support is included and what is charged separately?
We set these points out in writing before accepting your order. Your domain is registered in your name. The full package page explains the scope and the enquiry process.
Choose around how you work
A managed website suits a trade business that wants help with setup and small updates. If you prefer to maintain your own pages, compare the software subscription, the time you can set aside and the support you need. Look at the whole arrangement, including what happens if you change provider.
